The Museum of Flight Financial Assistance Program helps schools and non-profit youth organizations afford to participate in the Museum’s educational programs. 

Through the generous support of our partners and donors, we are able to provide financial assistance to the organizations that need it most on a first-come, first-served basis. Partial and full funding may cover:

  • Program Fees
  • Bus / Transportation Reimbursements (includes school, charter and rental buses)

Requirements & Rules

  • Be a school or non-profit youth organization,
  • Have a minimum of 35% of students who qualify for federal free or reduced lunch program,
  • Apply for financial assistance at least two weeks before the date of your program,
  • Complete the Pre-and Post program activities that are provided to you.

Please Note:

  • Financial assistance is awarded after all other discounts are applied.
  • If your group cancels within one week of your scheduled program, you are liable for a cancellation fee.
  • Financial assistance for schools and organizations outside of Washington State may be requested but is limited.
  • Bus / Transportation reimbursements do not apply to personal vehicles.
  • Award levels are variable and may cover a partial or full refund.
  • Restrictions and limitations may apply.

To complete the Financial Assistance Application, you will need the following:

  • Percentage of students in your school/organization on a federal free or reduced lunch program
  • Name of the program you'd like to book
  • Preferred program dates and times
