At the age of 22, Bill Coburn enlisted in the US Army Air Corp, and soon found himself in Europe, commanding a B-17 Bomber. Col. Coburn’s new book Wings Over Germany WWII is his personal account of his 30 combat missions flown between 1943-44. He will share his recollections and be available for book signing before and after the presentation, near the Museum’s own B-17.
