Family Science Fest and Space Elevator Youth Robotics Competition.

This daylong, family-friendly event has something for everyone. Local clubs and organizations will offer hands-on activities, displays and demos with the focus on STEM (science, technology, engineering and math). Watch teams compete in a special robotics competition; visit STEM Central; drive a robot; check out engineering displays from the Pacific Science Center; build with LEGO; go on a STEM Scavenger Hunt and more. Learn about the Space Elevator and its importance to mankind at Space Elevator 101 and 201 presentations.

Join us at the Museum of Flight for the STEM Back-to-School Weekend, generously sponsored by the Honeywell Corporation.   Learn about STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering and Math) Educational opportunities and how you can help your student succeed. 

Thanks to the generous sponsorship of Honeywell, we will be giving away school supplies & other educational toys. All programs, activities & giveaways are free with admission to the Museum.

In addition to Honeywell’s STEM Back-to-School Weekend, the third annual ISEC Space Elevator Youth Robotics Competition and ISEC Family Science Fest will also take place. Activities held in conjunction with the ISEC Space Elevator Conference are sponsored by the International Space Elevator Consortium (ISEC), Microsoft, the Museum of Flight, The Space Elevator Blog and the Leeward Space Foundation and in partnership with the Pacific Science Center.
