Rare pairing of Boeing legends Joe Sutter and Brien Wygle to talk about
the plane that changed air travel

SEATTLE, Oct. 6, 2014--In a program Oct. 18 at 2 p.m., the "father of the Boeing 747," Joe Sutter, and 747 first-flight test pilot Brien Wygle, will tell their riveting, inside stories of the Boeing 747 from conception in the 1960s to rebirth in another century. The event will be moderated by the Museum's Curator, Dan Hagedorn, and include conversations with Clive Irving, author of "Wide-Body: The Triumph of the 747." The Museum's newly restored 747 prototype will be open for tours all day in honor of the speakers. The program and aircraft tours are free with admission to the Museum.

The Museum is open daily from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. Admission is $19 for adults, $16 for seniors 65 and older, $16 for active military, $11 for youth 5 to 17, and free for children under 5.
