Einar Enevoldson -- Record-Setting Glider Pilot

Soaring Expo has invited Einar Enevoldson, who flew with Steve Fossett to a record altitude in the Perlan glider, now on exhibit at the Museum of Flight, to speak about the Perlan 2 project. He will speak on how the glider can soar so high, how that ability was discovered and how climate change is affecting that. He will also remind young people that there is still so much to learn and explore, and how excellence in science, engineering, craftsmanship, and teamwork are all necessary for the Perlan Project to succeed.
