Interactive programs presented on "Free Thursday" Dec. 1

SEATTLE, Nov. 30, 2011--On Thursday, December 1, The Museum of Flight will turn into a classroom for students in the University of Washington Museology program's museum education course. As part of their coursework, students have designed and developed a series of innovative and interactive education programs to be premiered at The Museum of Flight during the monthly Wells Fargo Free First Thursday evening event.

The students' interactive programs cover a range of topics, including subjects such as the history of aircraft nose art to the story of the Museum's Coast Guard helicopter to the stories of the night sky. The programs will be presented during the early hours of the 5 to 9 p.m. Wells Fargo First Free Thursday event and are open to visitors of all ages.

Participation and feedback are welcomed and encouraged.
