SEATTLE, March 19, 2018--Women Fly is The Museum of Flight's annual event for girls interested in aviation, aerospace, and STEM futures. Four hundred students will participate in a day of motivational and career-oriented activities that allows them to meet and learn from professional women working in a variety of STEM careers. This year's event on March 22 (middle school students) and March 23 (high school students) will feature workshops conducted by professionals with Alaska Airlines, Horizon Airlines, Boeing, FAA, plus pilots, educators and aerospace experts. The keynote speaker will be U.S. Air Force Col. Rebecca J. Sonkiss, Commander of the 62nd Airlift Wing at Joint Base Lewis-McChord, Wash.

Registration has been completed for Women Fly 2018, and about 200 students will attend each day. Media are welcome to meet the speakers and students engaged in this unique education event.
