SEATTLE, Jan. 3, 2019—A Museum program Jan. 19 looks at
Seattle-Tacoma International Airport’s on-site Flight Path project that
encompasses wild bee surveys, habitat restoration and honey bee
research. Sea-Tac’s “Beekeeper Bob” Redmond will show parallels among
honey bees and aviation, from communication systems and flight
operations to aerodynamics. The presentation will be followed by a honey
tasting with honey from the airport.
