SEATTLE, Sept. 28, 2020—The Museum of Flight is partnering with Bloodworks Northwest to conduct a pop-up donor center at the Museum
on Oct. 7, 9 and 10. Blood donors during this drive will receive a 50
percent discount on a future admission to Museum, plus a 10 percent
discount on in-store purchases at the Museum Store. Bloodworks Northwest
will be testing all whole blood donors for COVID-19 antibodies. This
way, donors may be able to donate plasma to COVID-19 patients in serious
need. For more information about antibody testing see Bloodworks Northwest website for details. Donation appointments must be scheduled with Bloodworks Northwest in advance.

between 11 a.m. and noon.

What’s a Pop-Up Donor Center?
A
Pop-Up is a temporary center that has the required space to ensure
proper distancing for staff and donors safely and per the CDC and FDA
requirements. They are at least 1000 square feet and allow for
Bloodworks Northwest equipment to remain set up overnight. Pop-Up Donor
Centers have been hosted by T-Mobile Park, CenturyLink Field, Cheney
Stadium, Angle of the Winds Arena, and The Paramount Theatre.
