SEATTLE, March 20, 2024—North America’s biggest Yuri’s Night space-themed dance party is at the Museum April 13. The annual 21+ spectacle transforms the Museum into an intergalactic nightclub celebrating real and imagined spaceflight with music, dance, cosplay and more. Driving the dance floors will be DJs Detlef, Latmun, Julie Herrera and Sean Majors.
Also orbiting Yuri’s Night will be VR experiences, fantastic photo ops and surprise guests. An eclectic mix of food trucks and cash bar will provide sustenance to the revelers. Space-themed costumes are encouraged.
Tickets: $55 General/$50 Museum Members. 21+ only; I.D. required.
Music and discos done in partnership with Noise Complaint, SoundDown and 44. Light-art installations by Lusio.
Yuri’s Night parties and events are held around the world every April in commemoration of Yuri Gagarin becoming the first human to venture into space on April 12, 1961, and the inaugural launch of the first Space Shuttle on April 12, 1981. The Museum’s has evolved into the largest Yuri’s Night in North America and what some describe as Seattle’s best party.
