Do you have an aviation or space-related project? The Kenneth H. Dahlberg Research Center, comprised of The Museum of Flight Archives, the Harl V. Brackin Memorial Library, and a Reading Room, is here to help! Our staff is ready and willing to assist aviation and aerospace researchers, including students from all levels, authors, teachers, historians, model-makers, and more.
Advance appointments are required to review archival and library materials in person. Remote research assistance is available for those who cannot come to the Research Center.

Reading Room Hours
Appointments are available Monday through Friday, 8:30 AM to 4:00 PM.
We are closed for major holidays and every second Friday of the month for collections care activities. Paid admission to the Museum is not required to visit the Dahlberg Research Center.

The Reading Room is on the west side of the Museum campus next to the Charles Simonyi Space Gallery and the Aviation Pavilion. Free parking is available in the attached lot. You may also park in the main Museum lot on the east side of the campus and reach the Reading Room by walking through the Museum Lobby and across the pedestrian bridge to the west side of the Museum campus. The Reading Room can be accessed through the Space Gallery. Please see an attendant in the gallery for directions to the entrance door.
