The Museum of Flight’s collection is considered one of the best air and space museum collections in the world. 

The Museum's collection includes 150 aircraft, over 25,000 small objects (classified as anything smaller than an aircraft), over 90,000 books and periodicals, over 18,000 aircraft manuals and other technical documents, and nearly 5,000 cubic feet of archival materials, including over a million images.

Library Catalog

Our library is one of the most complete and publicly accessible aviation and aerospace repositories in the country. Containing approximately 40,000 books, 80,000 journal issues, 18,000 aircraft and accessory manuals, 7,000 technical reports, and extensive research files.

Archives Database

Detailed finding aids and select examples of over 5,000 cubic feet of paper, photographic, and audiovisual materials that document the evolution of manned flight, from the Wright Brothers to modern jet travel to space exploration.

Objects Database

A browsable index of over 15,000 aviation and space artifacts. Some of these are on exhibit, while many more are stored, awaiting research, loan, or future display.
