In advance of World Autism Awareness Month, the Museum invites children with autism and their families to join us on Sunday, March 29 for an early opening to visit exhibits in a sensory-friendly environment. The J. Elroy McCaw Personal Courage Wing and T.A. Wilson Great Gallery will have adjusted lighting and sound for the best possible experience.

Participating families will also receive 10% off purchases in the Museum Store.

FREE admission for children with autism and their families from 8:00 AM to 10:00 AM* ONLY. (*Families who are participating in Sensory Day are welcome to stay after 10:00 AM to continue touring the Museum. No admission fee required. NOTE: Sound and lighting will go back to regular levels.)
