Do you want to learn the basics of Tinkercad? Then join us for a Tinkercad Tutorial!
Tinkercad Tutorials are a chance for students to learn the basics of 3D modeling in Tinkercad, preparing them for any 3D modeling or printing they would like to do in the future with us, another organization, or on their own. Please note: this is just a tutorial on how to use Tinkercad, there will be no 3D printing involved.
Each Tutorial session will be 1hr long: 15-20 minutes of Tinkercad basics followed by free design time with a staff member on-hand to assist. (students are not required to stick around for the full hour, they can leave early if they need to).
These will be FREE events, but donations are accepted and appreciated! There is a max capacity (7 students) for each session and pre-registration is required, so register now!
Important details:
- Recommended for ages 12+
- If you've taken a 3D printing class with us in the past, nothing in this tutorial will be new to you but you're still welcome to join if you'd like a refresher!
- Computer experience and patience is important! Being virtual, providing assistance is still possible just a little harder than it would be in-person. If students are experiencing any problems they can ask for help via chat box or audio and even share their screen to show the problem; help will be possible, it may just require more patience than an in-person class.

- Chrome for Firefox web browser
- A Tinkercad account (sign up for free at www.tinkercad.com)
