Join us at the Museum on Tuesday, July 12 and Saturday, July 16 (presentado en español e inglés) as we live stream NASA’s announcement of the first images to be released by the new James Webb Space Telescope. NASA will be providing virtual panels of experts to talk about what will for sure be amazing images from this incredible space telescope.

And be sure to arrive 15 minutes early at the Museum for an introduction from our Adjunct Curator for Space History, Geoff Nunn. We will host these livestreams on-site and submit questions from our on-site audience to NASA's experts.

Alone in the vastness of space, Webb will soon begin an approximately two-week process to deploy its antennas, mirrors, and sunshield.
