SEATTLE, April 28, 2015--A rare, public showing of United States Air Force's premier current fighter, the Lockheed F-22 Raptor, will be at the Museum on the weekend of May 9-10. Two F-22s are scheduled to fly-in to Boeing Field on May 7 at about 10:25 a.m. The aircraft will taxi to the Boeing Military Ramp next to the Museum, where they will be stationed until they are towed to Museum's parking lot for public display, 10 a.m. to 4 p.m., May 9-10. Raptor crew members will be with the planes to meet Museum visitors each day. The aircraft and crews are assigned to the 3rd Wing at Elmendorf AFB, Alaska. Fly-in times and departures subject to change.

There will be presentations with the Raptor pilots and aviation photographer John Dibbs in the Museum at 2 p.m. Saturday and Sunday. Dibbs' beautiful air-to-air photographs of military aircraft are known worldwide. He and the pilots will talk about flying military jets and photo missions, with each program featuring Dibbs' stunning photographs and videos.
