On the first Thursday of each month, the Museum stays open late – and admission is free. Enjoy the Museum's Great Gallery, Personal Courage Wing and more from 5 to 9 p.m., courtesy of Wells Fargo. Museum Store and Wings Café will also remain open for extended hours on this night. Please note, Airpark is not open on First Free Thursdays during Fall & Winter.
NASA Climate Night: Monitoring Earth’s Climate From Space
NASA & NOAA data have revealed that 2015 was hottest year in historical record. Our evening features Monitoring Earth’s Climate From Space with activities, science experiments and presentations from NOAA & NASA Sea Grant and Space Grant researchers about the latest in climate monitoring and modeling. We also proudly welcome guest presenter and Seattle local Dr. Yoram Bauman,Stand Up Economist and climate change cartoon book author, the UW Department of Atmospheric Sciences, The Glenda Project, General Electric, and teens from Seattle Youth CAN.
