Dave Cable
Born and raised in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania, Dave graduated from Purdue University in 1964 with a Bachelor of Science in Mechanical Engineering where he learned to fly.In 1971, following a six-year tour in the Navy, he received a Master’s Degree in Industrial Management, also from Purdue. Commissioned an ensign in 1964, Dave immediately entered naval flight training in Pensacola, Florida. He received his wings in June of 1965. Deploying to Southeast Asia in the fall of 1966 aboard the aircraft carrier USS Enterprise, he flew 100 missions in the A6A Intruder over North Vietnam. Dave was awarded the Distinguished Flying Cross, 12 Air Medals, 3 Navy Commendation Medals and the Navy Unit Citation. Dave retired in 2006 from T-Mobile where he directed the business startup and deployment of the first Wi-Fi networks nationwide - in Starbucks, airline clubs and airports. Dave and his wife, Jane, live in Bellevue and enjoy visits with their four granddaughters who live close by.

Dave began Docent training in January 2016, and is currently enjoying his participation as a member of the Friday morning docent shift.


Pam Valdez
Pam Valdez retired in 2020 as the Vice President of Air Force Services for Boeing Global Services.She was responsible for the support and sustainment of the US Air Force F-15, F-22, KC- 46, KC135, KC-10, A-10, T-38, APT, MH-139, Rapid Modification Center and associated Training Systems. Valdez served in The US Navy Fleet Air Reconnaissance Squadron Four (VQ-4) on EC-130G/Q aircraft at NAS Patuxent River, Maryland. She holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Education from Adelphi University and an MBA/MIS from City University of Seattle. Pam holds licenses as a FAA Airframe & Power plant Mechanic, FCCGeneral Radiotelephone Technician and FAA Single Engine/Land Pilot. She is a Fellow in the Royal Aeronautical Society and the President of the Seattle Branch of the Royal Aeronautical Society. She is a member of the Ninety Nines and International. She is Vice Chair of the Board of Directors for USO Northwest.
