Contemporary artist Harriet Salmon discusses her sculptural installation currently on view at The Museum of Flight. Inspired by traditional craft techniques such as English hurdle making and Shaker furniture production, Salmon traces her techniques and materials back through history. She'll also explore how technology has been a common theme in past projects and how aerospace and aeronautics have influenced her art practice.
