Art After Dark | The Museum of Flight

Experience an evening of tantalizing 21+ artistic expression!

Start your evening with an aperitif, or two, and take a stroll through history with Senior Curator Matthew Burchette as he divulges the unique, and sometimes racy, past of aircraft nose art. From pin-ups like Devil Darlin' and Liberty Belle to the bragging rights of bombers Shangri-La and Thumper, you'll get a peek into the style and meaning behind these vintage, artistic expressions.

Afterwards, we'll direct your eyes to the skies and thrill you with amazing acrobatic performances and heart-stopping aerial routines all suspended from the Museum’s ceiling.

Then, we'll invite you, the audience, to become part of the show!

From the creators of BurlesKaraoke®!, Ruby Mimosa and her burlesque friends will tease, please, delight and surprise you with the spontaneity of karaoke and the thrill of improvisational performance art. Guests can sing their favorite karaoke numbers while professional burlesque dancers improvise accompanying titillating performances on the spot!
