Honor the legacy and sacrifice of the Doolittle Raiders by participating in a decades-long Air Force traditional toast. On Thursday, April 17, AFA members, military units at home and abroad, and grateful citizens around the world will raise a glass in commemoration of the Raiders' enduring war-fighting spirit, bravery and innovation.The program will feature the presentation of the colors by the University of Washington AFROTC Color Guard; recognition of the Doolittle Raiders' family members in attendance; a short historical presentation by docent David Waggoner on the history of the Raid; a keynote by Gen. Thomas A. Bussiere, Commander of Air Force Global Strike Command; broadcasting across the globe; and a toast.
This event is hosted by the Air & Space Forces Association (AFA) Greater Seattle Chapter.
