The Museum of Flight is conveniently located off Interstate 5, just south of downtown Seattle and 8 miles north of SeaTac Airport, on Boeing Field (King County International Airport). The Museum of Flight Research Center, containing The Harl V. Brackin Memorial Library, The Museum of Flight Archives, and the Dahlberg Reading Room, is on the west side of the Museum campus next to the Charles Simonyi Space Gallery and Aviation Pavilion.

Dahlberg Reading Room Hours
Advance appointments are required for all researchers and are available Monday-Friday, 9:00am-4:00pm.
We are closed for major holidays and every second Friday of the month for collections care activities. To arrange an appointment, please contact us via our research request form, call us at 206-764-5874, or email curator@museumofflight.org. Parking
Free parking is available in the lot nearest the entrances to the Dahlberg Reading Room and Charles Simonyi Space Gallery, next to the Aviation Pavilion. You may also park in the main Museum lot on the east side of the campus and reach the Reading Room by walking through the Museum Lobby and across the pedestrian bridge to the west side of the Museum campus. The Dahlberg Reading Room can be accessed through the Charles Simonyi Space Gallery.
Please see an attendant in the gallery for directions to the entrance door. Paid admission is not required to visit the Research Center.
Public Transit
King County Metro Transit route 124 stops near our building on East Marginal Way. To reach the Dahlberg Reading Room from the bus stops, enter at the Charles Simonyi Space Gallery entrance and let the staff know you are visiting the Reading Room. They will direct you to the Dahlberg Reading Room entrance.
