Western Aerospace Scholars is seeking Washington State certified middle and high school educators to both evaluate online coursework and participate as an academic facilitator for one summer experience.

As an evaluator in WAS, teachers will be exposed to University of Washington level content, have opportunities to interact with professionals in STEM fields, tour engineering and research facilities not open to the general public, work with highly engaged and motivated students, and learn new techniques for demonstrating STEM concepts in their classrooms. Educators can apply for either the junior program or the sophomore program in Washington State.

Information about the 2020-21 program will be available in mid-September. Due to operating restrictions, some of our programs may change.
