These programs provide a brief history of rockets and discusses Newton's laws of motion as students apply their understanding while engaging in the design and testing of their own rockets.
NOTE: This program requires a standard, indoor classroom area for designing and building the rockets, a level, outdoor space* for launching rockets - clear from trees, power lines, buildings, parking lots, and cars - and additional adult supervision for the duration of the program.
*Weather permitting. Due to inclement weather, The Museum of Flight reserves the right to cancel and reschedule programming.
