Interpreters are an integral part of our efforts to engage and educate visitors about two highly influential World War II bomber aircraft: the B-17 Flying Fortress and B-29 Superfortress. The role of the Interpreter is to provide historical context, sharing interesting facts, and answering questions to help visitors understand the significance of these aircraft and those who served on and built them. Interpreters also assist with facilitating a show-and-tell table featuring a variety of World War II bomber objects that provides visitors with some hands-on, guided opportunities.

This is a seasonal position that runs from the Memorial Day weekend in May to the end of September in the Aviation Pavilion.
